Church of the Cross has been the "Little Church on the corner" of 45th and H Streets for 80 years. Cross is a church with a mission-inside and outside our four walls.

        Members of the church participate in the services, and offer fellowship to all those who attend. Cross has an active WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) group that is open to every woman member. Our group generates many of our social and fundraising activities, including the annual Garage Sale and Craft and Bake Sale.

        Every Sunday after service, we leave to be the church in the world. Beyond our neighborhood in East Sacramento, we respond to the Holy Spirit's Call to Compassionate Service in our community and World. See the Missions page for a complete list of all that our small but mighty church does.
