Saturday, May 11 - This year we are doing something a little different for our Mother's Day celebration. We will be marching, rallying and then lunching for a cause! Saturday, May 11, 2024 we will gather at St. John's Lutheran Church at 9am then march to the state capitol for a non-violent rally in support of women & children's rights and peace. Following the rally we will head back to St. John's for lunch catered by Nash & Proper. Can't march, no problem, just meet us at the capitol for the rally and drive back to St. John's for lunch!

Friday, June 28 - Church of the Cross and St. Luke's Lutheran Churches will be co-hosting with Sierra Pacific Synod Women of the ELCA "Courageous Conversations" to learn about St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Cairo, Egypt and how they formed StARS to help refugees in the Middle East.
