Looking Ahead
Church of the Cross will be hosting a food and essentials drive for NorCal Resist, a community organization focused on immigrants families, beginning Reformation Sunday and continuing through December. Click here for a list of items we'll be
collecting. Their December distribution date is the 19th, so please bring your items by Sunday the 14th, so we can arrange for a pick up during that week. To learn more about this organization you can visit their website at www.norcalresist.org
Our Crabby Online Auction is live! Click here for a link to the auction site. New items will be added during the auction so keep checking back.To contact Laura with questions, please call or text 916-416-0130. Our ABC Holiday Sale will be Dec. 6-7. Vendors are lined up, and all we need is everyone baking/making their best goodies. See Jacquie Haney with questions or text her at 916-420-4135. Click here for the flyer.
Sunday, December 7 Cross will take a special offering for Global Refuge, the Lutheran organization that supports immigrants and refugees.
Tuesday, Dec. 9th- Gift Wrapping! Several of our members are making the trip to Rock Point to deliver Christmas presents in person! We will gift wrap these presents in the Social Hall on the 9th in the evening from 6-8. Someone will be in the Social Hall if you can come earlier in the afternoon.

At our semi-annual meeting, the congregation voted to approve up to $25,000 for rehab on the Parish House. Please look for ways you can add a little extra to your monthly or weekly giving, and mark it for "Building & Grounds" or "Parish House Rehab". We will also be looking at fundraisers. We have members of the congregation who will be doing some of the work themselves to help reduce the cost. To make things easier - sign up for Vanco Electronic Giving - It's free - see Kevin Brown for Details!
